15% Discount for Family Crews in Croatia – New mySea Initiative Launches for the 2025 Season

Sailing with the family in Croatia is about to get more affordable: The online berth booking platform mySea and the Association of German Yacht Charter Companies (VDC) have teamed up to launch a new discount program that directly benefits families on charter trips.

The Background:
Due to inflation and Croatia’s switch to the euro, charter costs rose in 2024. Family crews, often covering all costs from a single budget, were especially impacted.

The Solution: “Club of 15%”

Starting April 1st, 2025, family crews booking through mySea will receive 15% discounts on:

• Berths in all ACI marinas

• Ports including Polesana (Pula), Marina Trogir, and Nautica Novigrad

• National park entry (e.g. Kornati, more parks to follow)

• And soon: selected restaurants

Who qualifies for the discount?

• At least one crew member is under 22 years old

• The crew includes parents with children or grandparents with grandchildren

• Valid for monohulls up to 14 meters (catamarans excluded)

• The skipper must confirm the family crew when booking

Discounts are applied automatically when booking berths or national park tickets via mySea.

Discussions with restaurant operators are ongoing – more participants are expected to confirm during the season.
